  Rick Fogelman, Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Rick Fogelman is responsible for the establishment and implementation of the business strategies of Fogelman Management Group, as well as leading the growth opportunities for the company. He is also responsible for overseeing the asset management activities on behalf of the Fogelman real estate holdings.

Rick joined FMG in 1988 and since that time has held various positions in the company’s property management, finance, and asset management departments. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Memphis.

Rick serves on the Board of Directors of the National Multi Housing Council, is past Vice President of Tennessee Apartment Association. He is also a member of the 1995-1996 Class of Leadership Memphis and was voted as one of the city’s “Top 40 Under 40” business executives by the Memphis Business Journal.



  Mark Fogelman, CPM, President and Chief Operating Officer

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mark Fogelman leads the property operational teams that oversee the Fogelman Management Group’s managed communities. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the Company’s policies, procedures and reporting systems, as well as client relations.

Mark began his career with FMG in 1994 and since that time he has held various positions in both field operations as well as corporate support. He holds a BSM degree from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business, where he was the recipient of Birkenroad Award, the school’s top award for academic excellence.

Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the National Multi Housing Council and is past President of Tennessee Apartment Association. He has received his CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Mark was voted as one of the city's "Top 40 Under 40" business executives by the Memphis Business Journal. He is a frequent speaker at national real estate conferences.



  John Randles, Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer for Fogelman Management Group, John Randles is responsible for corporate accounting, cash management, and administration of FMG’s associate benefit plan plans. In addition John oversees the placement of and ongoing servicing of the company’s various insurance programs.

John began his career with FMG in 1987 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining the company, he spent ten years with Arthur Anderson and Co. and then served three years as Chief Financial Officer of a financial services company. John earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, with a major in accounting. He has held CPA licenses in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, and Tennessee.



  Melissa Levesque Smith, Senior Vice President, Internal Operations

Melissa Smith is Senior Vice President, Internal Operations for FMG. Melissa is responsible for leading the Fogelman team in the areas of human resources, training, management development, systems coordination, and information technology.

Melissa has excelled in a variety of multifamily property management roles since her start in the industry in 1990. Prior to joining Fogelman in 1998, she was promoted up through the ranks at Summit Properties and Insignia Residential Group.

Melissa earned her BS degree in Business and Economics from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA. She is a frequent speaker and columnist for industry events and magazines.



  Debra Millwood, CPM, Senior Vice President, Property Management

As Senior Vice President for the Southeast Region, Debra is responsible for overseeing property operations and client relations for approximately 50% of the overall FMG portfolio, including properties throughout Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, North and South Carolina, Indiana and Kentucky. Debra is supported in her position by Regional Vice-Presidents located across the Southeast.

Debra began her career in multifamily real estate in 1980 and joined FMG in 1998. Prior to joining the Fogelman team, she served as Regional Property Manager for NPI and Area Vice President for RAM Partners/Post Properties.

Debra has received her CPM designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management and is actively involved in the Atlanta Apartment Association.



  Debi Wherry, Senior Vice President, Property Management

As Senior Vice President for the Midsouth Region, Debi is responsible for overseeing property operations and client relations for approximately 50% of the overall FMG managed portfolio, including properties throughout Memphis, Arkansas, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, and Mississippi. Debi is supported in her position by Regional Vice Presidents located throughout her geographical region.

Debi began her career in the multifamily industry in 1989 with Apartment Investment Management Co. (NYSE-AIMCO) as National Trainer. She later became AIMCO’s Director of Information Systems, overseeing system procedures for a portfolio of 10,000 units. Debi also served as Senior Vice president of LEDIC Management prior to joining the Fogelman team in 2003.

Debi is heavily involved in both National Apartment Association and IREM in Memphis, most recently serving as President of the Apartment Association of Greater Memphis. She is presently a candidate for CPM designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.



  Rob Long, Vice President, Controller, Accounting Services

As Vice President/Controller of FMG’s Accounting Services Department, Rob is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s day-to-day property accounting functions. In this role, Rob serves as the key liaison between our clients and the FMG accounting services department as it relates to property accounting reporting and processes.

Prior to joining FMG in 2000, Rob served in a variety of accounting positions with Insignia Financial Group, including multifamily property accounting, corporate accounting, and as controller for the general partner entities of Insignia’s real estate partnerships. Rob holds a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Memphis and is a Certified Public Accountant.



  Kevin Jackson, Senior Vice President, Financial Services

As Senior Vice President of Financial Services for Fogelman Management Group, Kevin Jackson is responsible for the company’s asset management and financing activities. In addition, Kevin is involved in all areas of property acquisitions and dispositions including underwriting, coordination of third party professionals, and the closing process. Kevin also coordinates real estate tax appeals for FMG and several of its clients.

Kevin joined the FMG team in 1990, after serving in the audit department of Arthur Anderson and Co. for five years. He holds a BA degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and is a Certified Public Accountant.



  Randy Giltner, Vice President, Construction Services

As Vice President of Construction Services for Fogelman Management Group, Randy works closely with our property owners, Regional Managers and on-site Business Managers to address the physical needs of their properties. In this role, Randy focuses his attention on preserving and protecting FMG-managed assets, as well as overseeing "value add" physical improvements and enhancements.

Randy has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, which has included oversight of multifamily development, renovation, and rehab projects. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Management from The University of Tennessee at Martin, where he was also a four year football letterman. Randy has held a General Contractors license in both residential and commercial construction.



  John Barger, Vice President, Real Estate Services

As Vice President of Real Estate Services, John centrally supports the properties in the critical areas of ancillary income and expense reduction programs. These areas include utility management/conservation, national contracts, bulk purchasing, and liability management. In addition John coordinates FMG’s due diligence efforts and also oversees FMG’s philanthropic initiative, "FMG CARES."

John began his career in the real estate industry in 1996, as a facilities administrator for a national heath care organization, and then joined FMG in 2000. John earned his BBA and MS in Accounting from The University of Memphis. He currently serves as President of both the Tennessee Apartment Association and the Apartment Association of Greater Memphis.



  Pattie Woods, Vice President, Training & Development

As Vice President of Training & Development, Pattie is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring training programs for all site level employees. She also monitors our Associate Shopping program, FMG Mentor programs and the Online Learning Center. Pattie works closely with FMG's Director of Marketing and the Management Development Department to provide superior support to our leasing, marketing and management teams.

Pattie began her career in 1982 as a site manager and was responsible for the supervision of multiple site portfolios for 10 years before joining FMG as a Regional Vice President in 2000. Pattie is an active member on NAA and currently serves on the Education Committee. She was the inaugural President for the Apartment Association of Great Memphis in 2006 and is a past President of the Tennessee Apartment Association. Pattie holds RAM, CAM and CAPS designations and is a frequent speaker for national industry events.
